Paris+ par Art Basel 2022

October 19 - 23, 2022
Overview
It is with grand plaisir that Anton Kern Gallery participates in the inaugural edition of Paris+ par Art Basel. For the occasion, Martino Gamper has designed our booth with an immersive artistic intervention: his multi-colored wood panels enveloping and populating the space acting as an opportunity for collaboration with each exhibiting artist.

Our booth features new works from our international group of artists: Alvaro Barrington, Ellen Berkenblit, Brian Calvin, Anne Collier, Julie Curtiss, Nicole Eisenman, Martino Gamper, Bendix Harms, Lothar Hempel, Marcus Jahmal, Sarah Jones, Hein Koh, Jim Lambie, Chris Martin, Matthew Monahan, Aliza Nisenbaum, Nathalie Du Pasquier, Manfred Pernice, Alessandro Pessoli, Tal R, Wilhelm Sasnal, Lara Schnitger, David Shrigley, Mike Silva, and Francis Upritchard.

We also invite you to join us at booth A6 on Thursday, October 20 from 5-6:30pm to celebrate the launch of a new artist publication by Julie Curtiss, which encompasses the new drawings made for her latest solo exhibition at the gallery, "Somnambules."

Across the Seine at the Tuileries, you'll find five bronze sculptures by Tal R, collectively titled "Goat Man's Call," as part of Sites, Art Basel’s sector dedicated to artist projects curated by Annabelle Ténèze, Director of Les Abattoirs, Musée - Frac Occitanie Toulouse. The striking parade of creatures and characters will joyfully populate a quiet, tree-lined area near the Grand Carré, just off the rue de Rivoli.

Bon voyage et à bientôt à Paris!
