Friends & Family

June 14, 2008—The premise for “Friends and Family” is simple: each gallery artist was asked to submit one work of art along with a work by an artist friend and an artist family member. All gallery staff was invited to do the same. No editing, no censoring! The result is as diverse as it is surprising, and perhaps even revealing. The gallery expects to install over 80 pieces of art. Will a common gallery aesthetic crystallize out of this? Or even some kind of extended subliminal family tree? Letʼs see!
