May 12, 2006—Anton Kern Gallery celebrates its ten year anniversary with an exhibition of works by 37 artists who have worked with the gallery over the past decade and who have thus shaped its image and aesthetic. The title “Implosion”, a term Anton Kern has toyed with for quite some time, has finally found a proper application. The act of imploding is defined as a “collapsing inward”. The 37 artists in this exhibition make this is a threat we can revel in.
